Art Brut Project Cuba was invited by Hannah Arendt's Institute of Artivism (INSTAR) to exhibit at Documenta 15 in Kassel, Germany, as part of a ten-exhibition programme presenting a counter-narrative of Cuban cultural history.

The exhibition, titled The Academy of Bejuco, was curated by Tania Bruguera, Clara Astiasarán and Ernesto Oroza. It features 1,700 individual pieces by 30 artists from Art Brut Project Cuba.
