Fred Scruton's entry into the
2019 Raw Vision short film competition
Ronald Mann is a self-taught Vietnam veteran artist with PTSD. His deceased wife was an amateur painter, and on his own he took up painting as a self-therapeutic way to ease his emotional stress (he's never had any art therapy classes).
Mann expands the narratives of his work by also photographing sometimes multiple slide projections of his paintings onto other paintings and the human body.
