October 19–22, 2017

The fifth anniversary edition of the Outsider Art Fair Paris will run from October 19–22, concurrent with Foire Internationale d’Art Contemporain. Raw Vision will be among the 35 exhibitors from 22 cities and eight countries. New exhibitors include Donald Ellis Gallery (NY), Outsider Art Museum (Amsterdam) and La Fabuloserie Galerie (Paris).  The Curated Space will be a highlight as it pays homage to Daniel Cordier (b. 1920) and his celebrated collection of art brut.

Art Absolument Prize for Outsider Art

The Art Absolument Prize for Outsider Art will be awarded at the Espace Art Absolument, a new venue located in the 13th arrondissement of Paris - a neighborhood at the crossroads of aesthetics and generations of contemporary artists, reflecting on the dedicated work of the magazine Art Absolument over the past 15 years. A jury composed of experts from diverse backgrounds will grant 10,000 euros to the maker of a piece chosen from among the pre-selected artworks by five artists. An exhibition of all the pre-selected artworks, curated by the artist Eva Jospin, will be held at the Espace Art Absolument, 11 rue Louise Weiss, 75013 Paris, after the Outsider Art Fair.
