Artists create a one foot square canvas forming a larger piece in One Bare Foot Square. The mosaic canvas will project a spectrum, weaving together each individual’s life journey; reflecting on their experience, hopes, thoughts & imagination through their diverse practice, from doodles, painting, stencil to mixed-media.

Cavin-Morris Gallery will present the first in a series of bi-annual exhibitions spotlighting some of the artists represented by the gallery.  Each artist will be exhibited on his or her own wall or separate section of floor space. Artists include Jon Serl, Gregory Van Maanen, J.B. Murray, Joseph Lambert, Melanie Ferguson, Rafa Perez, Tony Pedemonte and Tim Rowan.

To celebrate it’s 25-year anniversary, Intuit will revisit the Corcoran Gallery of Art’s groundbreaking 1982 exhibition Black Folk Art in America 1930–1980. The exhibition will explore all the areas impacted by the term “Black Folk Art”.
